Went to this gig with my kids and loved every second of it. Brendon is one of the most talented musicians/singers I have ever seen, and I've been going to concerts since 1984.
It was an amazing concert! I haven't been going to concerts quite as long as you have, only about 11 years I think, but he is one of the best I've seen live.
